Alcohol Support - Initial Consultation

Before a tailored packaged can be recommended for you, Addressing Addictions will first need to conduct an in-depth consultation. This will be a comprehensive assessment during which we will assess multiple areas of need and cover the following areas:

• Alcohol use, including:​​

  • consumption: historical and recent patterns of drinking  and if possible, additional information (for example, from a family member or carer)

  • Levels of dependence

  • Alcohol-related problems

 

• Other drug misuse, including over-the-counter medication

• Physical health problems

• Psychological and Social problems

• Readiness and belief in ability to change
